Swimming at Spindleruv Mlyn

If you wish to go swimming, there is a choice of 2 indoor waterparks in the mountain resort of Spindleruv Mlyn, which will be appreciated especially by families with children. Natural swimming is possible at the Elbe dam (Labská přehrada) – suitable for hardies as the water is cold throughout a year.

Waterparks at Spindleruv Mlyn

1/ Water paradise (Vodní ráj) - VZ Bedřichov

• 400 m from Hotel Start
• Indoor swimming pool 25 m with water attractions (for example: water slide, wild river, water screen etc.) and whirlpool
• Children’s paddling pool with slide

2/ AQUA Park Spindleruv Mlyn

• Approx. 1km from the Hotel Start (right opposite to parking P3 Medvedin)
• Swimming pool with water attractions (water slide, wild river, water screen, massage jets
• Children’s paddling pool
• Jacuzzi
• Outdoor area with a pond and a children playground

+ Wednesday and Saturday    8:00 PM - 9:30 PM

the Elbe dam (Labska Prehrada)

Located approximately 1,6 kms from Hotel Start. Paid parking is available on spot (Parking 1 – Bedřichov).

Alternatively, you can visit the dam on foot. It is a nice walk from the centre. The starting point is the information centre where you turn right towards Labská (green tourist route). It is a nice forest path and it is approx. 2 kms.

The dam is at altitude of 700 m.a.s.l. Therefore, the water in considerably cold also in summer. Bathing is allowed but no services are provided on spot.

Only boat rental is available (near the parking). 

The Elbe dam is a good fishing spot (trouts, brook trouts). To obtain a fishing permit, contact Mr. Milan Pavlik.
