Krkonose trail

Cross-country skiing in the vicinity of Spindleruv Mlyn is a wonderful sporting experience thanks to the unspoiled nature and kilometers of cross-country trails.

Hotel Start is thanks to its location an ideal starting point for cross-country trips in the Giant Mountain.

Near the base terminal in St. Peter's (Svaty Petr) you can join the eastern part of the unique project of the main Giant mountain‘s cross-country trail (Main Trail Krkonošská magistrála). It connects the eastern and western part of the Giant Mountains. The trail leads from Harrachov through Horní Mísečky, Špindlerův Mlýn and Horní Maršov to Žacléř. It is approximately 80 kms long. The highest point of the route is at an altitude of 1400 m.a.s.l. near Vrbata´s hut (Vrbatova bouda).

The other hundreds of kilometers of maintained trails are connected to this backbone route. These trails with stunning mountain panoramas take you to picturesque, often less visited places of the Giant Mountains.
